Using an LCD TV as a PC monitor

Recent news reports indicate that a quality LCD monitor for your PC is going to become the norm - and it’s likely it’s also going to work as an LCD TV.

There’s a growing trend towards movies and DVDs being available on demand online, so you watch them over the internet instead of borrowing them from your local video store (and forgetting to take them back on time, if you’re like our family).

And Kodak are releasing software that lets you add a sound commentary to the photo albums you have on your PC, so you can share your holiday photos with friends overseas as if you were there. So given the image quality you get from a good LCD display, plus the trend for the PC to become the domestic media center, you see the sense of having an LCD TV screen as your PC monitor. Read more.

    iLO LCD TV - Value For Money?

    iLO is a Walmart private brand. Some of the iLO screens e.g. the 23 inch are made by Tatung in Taiwan (who also make screens for Apple). Some of the larger sizes are made by Onida in India. I'd say its likely that other manufacturers will be used as time goes by. So how does the quality compare with other brands?
